Bespoke Multi-Layered Sports Awards
Ashford Angels FC required a unique alternative to off-the-shelf trophies for their annual awards ceremony. The brief called for a bespoke design that could incorporate the club's official logo, league details and individual player names, all while reflecting the team's signature bland and red colours.
To achieve a modern and prestigious look, we engineered a sophisticated double-layered trophy design. The front fascia is crafted from high-clarity clear acrylic, where we utilised a reverse-engraving technique. By engraving the logo and text on the back of the clear panel in mirror image, the artwork appears as a crisp, "milky white" finish viewed through the depth of the acrylic, protecting the surface from dust and fingerprints.
This clear panel is complemented by a vibrant backplate of red and black Perspex®, creating a striking colour-blocked effect that aligns with the club's identity. Both panels are securely slotted into a custom-cut, heaving-duty black acrylic base. This project demonstrates our ability to combine material layering with precision alignment to create high-quality, commemorative awards that stand out from mass-produced options.
