Custom Branded Wooden Buttons for Hand-Knitted Apparel
BAA BAA Designs wanted to upgrade their brand identity by adding custom-marked wooden buttons to their range of hand-knitted hats. The goal was to transform a standard garment accessory into a signature branding element that would help their products stand out in a competitive market.
We collaborated closely with the client to bring their branding to life on a small, intricate scale. After an extensive search for UK-based suppliers, the client sourced specialised wooden buttons which were shipped directly to our workshop for processing.
During the prototyping phase, our team identified that the slight curvature on the front of the buttons could affect the focus of the laser. After rigorous testing, we determined that engraving the flat reverse side yielded a much crisper, high-definition finish. This technical adjustment ensured that the BAA BAA Designs logo remained sharp and legible. These custom buttons now provide a professional, high-end signature for every hand-knitted piece in their collection.
