Premium Corporate Gifting & Glass Personalisation
Casualty Resources sought a unique, high-impact corporate gift for their premium clients. They chose distinctive skull-shaped glass vodka bottles and required their company logo to be engraved directly onto the glass. Given the high cost of the product, the project demanded a "right-first-time" approach with zero margin for error.
Engraving complex, non-flat surfaces like these skull-shaped bottles requires both technical skill and creative engineering. Because the bottles were high-value and limited in quantity, we performed extensive calibration on glass substitutes to perfect the laser settings before touching the final product.
The most significant challenge was the irregular geometry of the bottle, which made standard jigs unusable. To solve this, we engineered a custom modular Lego®-based jigging system. This allowed us to build a perfect contoured cradle that locked the bottles into a fixed position, ensuring the laser remained in focus across the curved surface. The result was a crips, frosted-white engraving that contrasted beautifully against the crystal glass. We have maintained these bespoke settings and jig templates to facilitate seamless repeat orders for the client since 2017.
