Hawk-Woods Ltd, a leader in professional power solutions, required permanent branding for their anodised aluminium battery enclosures. The project demanded a clean, professional finish that could withstand the rigours of film sets and location work without fading or peeling.
We were tasked with engraving custom branding onto high-quality anodised aluminium batter boxes. Engraving on anodised metal is a highly effective process; the laser removes the top layer of pigment to reveal the natural silver of the aluminium underneath. This results in a crisp, permanent and high-contrast mark that is integrated into the material itself.
Using our large-format, heavy-duty laser system, we were able to accommodate these substantial components with ease. Our setup ensured that the logo placement remained perfectly consistent across the batch. As a repeat industrial client, we maintain their specific vector files and laser parameters on our secure system, allowing for rapid turnaround on future product runs.
