Industrial Asset Identification for Engineering Teams
Premier Foods required high-durability metal tags for their engineering team. The brief necessitated a solution that could withstand the demanding environment of a food production facility, requiring clear, permanent text based on the client's specific identification protocols.
We provided a complete manufacturing and marking solution for this project. We coordinated the fabrication of stainless-steel tags to our exact specifications before moving them into our workshop for the marking phase.
To ensure the text is impervious to the cleaning chemicals and wear-and-tear typical of the food industry, we used a high-contrast metal marking compound. Once applied and dried, the tags were loaded into custom-built jigs within our laser system. The laser then fused the compound to the steel, creating a permanent black mark that does not compromise the structural integrity or the corrosion resistance of the stainless-steel. This method ensures that the vital engineering data remains legible for years to come.
