Discreet Stainless-Steel Branding for Bespoke Furniture
Tom Goldsmith Joinery required a professional branding solution for their bespoke furniture installations. The goal was to mark hundreds of stainless-steel hinge plates with their company logo, allowing for discreet but clear brand identification within their custom-built cupboards and joinery.
For this high-volume project, we processed hundreds of stainless-steel hinge plates. To ensure maximum efficiency and 100% accuracy across the batch, we engineered a custom MDF jig. This allowed us to lock multiple plates into position simultaneously, ensuring the logo placement was identical on every single piece.
While the original artwork provided was undersized for the component, our team optimised and upscaled the vector file to perfectly utilise the available surface area. We utilised the Cermark annealing process, where a specialised compound is fused to the steel by the laser beam. This creates a permanent, jet-black mark that is flush with the metal; providing a sophisticated, durable finish that will last the lifetime of the furniture.
